I want to interface my handheld T7H so I can hear and talk using the bike system, Is there anyone you know that may have done this already? There has to be a way to do this so ar to use the mike/earphones/PTTswitch of the bike and not void the warranty. I appreciate your assistance, I would like to start a motorcycle Ham club here, but I have to get past this hurdle first. I THINK the Internet web site is <www.cellset.com> and they have what you are looking for. Ask for the owner and if you can talk to him (Jon) tell him all the information, year, make, model of motorcycle and what you want to do and he will design and build what you need. If this doesn't work out for you get back to me. I am in Mesquite NV on a motorcycle rally right now and on my lap top, so I will have more time to help when I get home Monday. TTYL, 73, Ray KD6FHN MARC Chairman Of The Board ================================= Just spoke with Jon at Kennedy, he has nothing for this new Harley Davidson, and it sounds like he was not too interested in working on the issue. If you know of anyone else that may be of assistance to me let me know. Is MARC a Calif group only? No, we do NOT have a MARC Chapter in TN, MARC does have chapters in the San Francisco Bay Area (BA-MARC), one in the Houston TX area (TX-MARC), one in the IL/IN area and another in the New England Area (NE-MARC) and of course HQ-MARC here in Southern CA where we have about 165 members. You can go to our MARC Web Site at <www.marc-hq.org> and download or copy & paste the MARC application on to a piece of paper and send in $9 to MARC c/o Bonnie Davis, 3 Lindberg, Irvine, CA., 92620-3367. The MARC dues are $12 a year, but we prorate them at $1 a month after March so that all membership dues come due on January 1st of each year. We do it that way so that all MARC members dues come due at the same time. It makes the book keeping easier for our Secretary/treasurer/newsletter editor/my wife Bonnie. I am serious about starting a ham radio cycle club here in TN. You have to be a MARC member if you want your club to be associated with the MARC organization and all the people in your Chapter have to be MARC members too. Mark ========================= The only other thing I can suggest is that you join MARC so that you can on the MARC List where all the emails by our members can help you with what you want to do. We have a MARC Chapter in Houston TX and about 90% of those members ride Harleys, so they may be your best bet to learn what options you have available. Although I have done many dozens of installations, I have only done 3 or 4 installations on Harleys and that was several years ago. This is possibly the best help you can get adding ham radio to your motorcycle here in the USA. MARC has been existence for 14 years as of May this year and we pride ourselves in helping our members do installations.
